THE CONCEPT
Part of our Atelier Collection, this custom-made-to-order gown captures the architectural tension and statuesque silhouette of classic corsetry without rigid internal boning. Utilizing intricate micro-pleating, corded waist seams, and sculptured hip drapery, it mimics a cinched waistline while allowing fluid, uninhibited motion. Rendered in an earthy slub weave, it bridges organic texture with ethereal couture design.
THE DETAILS
The Illusion Corset Waistband: Designed to give the visual structure and waist-defining feel of a corset through dense horizontal micro-pleating and defined corded piping, framing the natural waist without internal boning.
The Neckline & Open Back: High gathered halter neck that ties behind the neck with an extended, floor-trailing fabric sash. Drops into a low open back that contrasts gracefully against the structured waist detail.
The Sculptural Cascading Skirt: High-waisted, floor-length A-line skirt elevated by dramatic asymmetrical ruffles that flare outward at the hips and cascade down the front for fluid, architectural movement.
The Fabric: Premium medium-weight linen-slub blend featuring an organic cross-hatch texture, chosen specifically for its ability to hold soft structural pleats while maintaining a light, rustic drape.
The Palette: Natural Flax Beige.
